I decided to give the xorg-edgers package a test under 10.04. First I installed all updates, including linux 2.6.32-23-generic. This had no noticable effect on GLBlur, still around 17 fps. Then I followed the instructions on https://launchpad.net/~xorg-edgers/+archive/ppa
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:xorg-edgers/ppa sudo apt-get update I then updated my system again, which reinstalled most (all?) xorg packages. I now get 30.2 fps for GLBlur, load 69.8%, 28 polys. Not quite as good as 9.04 on this computer but quite usable. -- [RC410] Radeon X200m poor graphics performance with KMS+DRI https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/576125 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
