There is pretty clearly a serious issue with Facebook and Gwibber and with Gwibber not updating. Just Google "Gwibber Ubuntu" and you'll see it everywhere.
This is far from "low priority." It basically makes the thing useless. In a fresh install of Lucid, I cannot add Facebook to my broadcast accounts. It asks for authorisation and once it has received it (I get an email from facebook letting me know it accessed facebook), it tells me "Success" and then does nothing. There is no facebook among my accounts after I close the add service window.
