clh, I don't know if it is a "known" bug in the sense that we know
exactly the cause of the session shutting down.  It certainly does
appear to be an intrusion attempt (but I am hardly an expert).  However,
the session should not shut down due to such attempts.  This kind of
behavior is a form of "Denial of Service".  While the hacker probably
could not access information or take control, they were still able to
trigger undesired behavior.

Therefore, we thank you for bringing this to our attention, as,
ultimately, this will lead to an eventual bugfix.  Thank you for helping
to make Ubuntu better!
