Sorry filed this late at night against synaptic the application instead
of synclient

** Description changed:

  Binary package hint: synaptic

When I put two fingers on my trackpad, the cursor flashes wildly between
the two points. It should only recognize the first finger as a pointer
input while using the other finger for gestures. I assume this is a
  setting in the synaptic driver.
