Hi, Only the development version is updated by default. If you want the latest version in Karmic, you can either request a backport, download the latest package source (with apt-get source taskjuggler) and compile it by your own (using "sudo apt-get build-dep taskjuggler" to get all dependencies and debuild -b to generates the deb files) or use a ppa to do that. >From what I've seen, I doubt that that version will fix your problem.
