For those running 32 bit OS:

download libstdc++5_3.3.6-18_i386.deb from:

http://packages.debian.org/lenny/i386/libstdc++5/download

>From GNOME, at least, double click the .deb to install using the GDebi
package installer.  Not sure why 64 bit users are using wget and linking
files...

Honestly, this binary should be in *some* repository *somewhere* :(
