I install my 10.04 using LUKS+LVM.
First, I've booted on a liveUSB x86_64
when I you try to install lvm using apt-get, you get this message :

I don't why config.dat is locked (it was not for others package), lvm2
tools like vgcreate are well installed
It's not blocking for me, and may be the problem is coming from the
"read-only media" that i use.
