*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 95400 *** It's normal that you can't use 'resize' from a parted shell to resize these file systems; partman works around libparted's lack of support for this by doing it in resize2fs. The problem was a different one, namely that the shell's arithmetic operations were using 32-bit numbers rather than 64-bit ones and so the size calculations all came out wrong for large partitions.
