Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: unity
I go to the applications tab on the top bar of Unity, go to system and
click on synaptic. The little gnome spinner works for quite a while,
Screen flashes off and back on once. Spinner stops shortly after that
flash.
Click on the Ubuntu logo to change to regular screen and then I can see
the error message about not being able to grab my mouse and that
something nasty may be spying on my system.
This also happens if I try to open Software Sources. USC will open.
Synaptic opens fine from terminal and runs fine once open.
