Public bug reported: Sometimes (not every time, usually after longer periods of sleep (when I do not touch computer for several hours at a time)) laptop fails to resume from sleep resulting in kernel panic (CapsLock indicator is blinking intermittently, and computer becomes unresponsive, forcing hard restart). Screen stays black, so I do not see any error messages.
When I was testing this laptop as per Ubuntu Wiki (https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Testing/Laptop/Lucid/Reports/SamsungR780) it exhibited similar behaviour: test snr-001 (suspend/resume smoke test) worked, but extended suspend/resume test (snr-002) resulted with exact same symptoms (see notes of the test case). That was with fresh install, now after all updates it still does it.
