Please recreate the problem after a fresh boot, switch to tty1, login, and run 'dmesg > dmesg.txt' and 'cat /var/log/Xorg.0.log > Xorg.0.log.txt' then upload dmesg.txt, Xorg.0.log.txt to this bug report. Also check /sys/kernel/debug/dri/0/i915_error_state and mention if there's anything there except "no error state collected". Thank you.
