I can build the module for 2.6.34-5-generic on x64_86 but loading fails
with:
[ 12.693097] wl: disagrees about version of symbol module_layout
I changed MAKE[0 ]in dkms.conf to:
MAKE[0]="make KERNEL_LOCATION=\${kernel_source_dir}
KERNVER=\${kernelver}"
