I have the same errors starting up update manager from the command line: $ sudo update-manager [sudo] password for jasper: ** Message: pygobject_register_sinkfunc is deprecated (GtkWindow) ** Message: pygobject_register_sinkfunc is deprecated (GtkInvisible) ** Message: pygobject_register_sinkfunc is deprecated (GtkObject)
So perhaps it is not a guake issue but a more general bug on deprecated (Python) functions/code. I must say the warnings did not seem to affect the functioning of the update manager. Here some more data: $ lsb_release -rd Description: Ubuntu maverick (development branch) Release: 10.10 See attached apport report ** Attachment added: "apport-cli -f -p update-manager" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/51555864/apport.update-manager.AzAAkn.apport -- pygobject_register_sinkfunc is depreciated https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/602569 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
