Public bug reported:

I'm not sure if this bug is because of apt or the cdrom.
I'm using Linux maverick Alpha 2, without any updates installed ( Couldn't
configure the network).

I wanted to install ndiswrapper from Maverick's installation cd to configure
the network.
So I made in command line "apt-cdrom add".
And what i expected to happen is that with this, I could just make apt-get
install ndiswrapper.

But what happen is that apt couldn't add the cdrom, sayng that they
were no valid indexes and that the cd wasn't perhaps a valid one.

I could manage to install ndiswrapper by browsing the cd and searching
the .deb.

If there arn't enough informations I can give more, if they don't
require an Internet connection.

[ Couldn't manage to install Wi-fi in Linux.]

And sorry for my bad english, still learning.
