Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: openoffice.org
Change fonts style from fonts collections in the font style panel can't be
applied, even if fonts are present in this one.
version: Openoffice 1:3.2.0-7ubuntu4.1 on Ubuntu 10.04 Gnome 32
- Fonts: DéjàVu (TTF), Nimbus Sans (PS-Type1), Minion-pro and Myriad-pro (OTF
from Adobe), and new versions of GilliusADF, GilliusADF N°2, TribunADF,
NeoGothisADF, ElectrumADF, UniversalisADF (OTF from Arkandis Digital Foundry).
- Same problem with Openoffice 3.2.1 on Mandriva-KDE 32
- No problem in OpenOffice 3.2.1 on Windows 32
These fonts use font naming specifications by collection. This not
affects the use of these fonts with Scribus (any OS)
In Addition, kerning from fonts using kerning by classes (Adobe fonts,
Electrum ADF) doesn't work in OpenOffice on Ubuntu (But works fine in
Windows)
