Hi, I'm not sure whether the problem I'm experiencing is the same as described here.
I have installed an application and it has added itself to the main menu. That works fine and it shows up. However, if I right click on the main menu and select "Edit Menus", the newly installed application is not shown, so I cannot for example move it to another submenu. This will probably fix itself on reboot, but it is very annoying that after installing an application, you have to reboot in order to have "edit menu" recognize the changes made to the menu. By the time, as a workaround, is there a way I can force the "edit menu" application to reload the menus??? And is this the same issue described in this thread, or should I file a separate bug report? thanks m. -- XDG menus do not update after a program installs https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/369405 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
