I tried installing Kubuntu 10.10 alpha2. I experienced a problem I had
with Ubuntu alpha1 a month ago. I created a bootable USB flash drive and
started the installation. In the menu I selected installation. After
that I have been watching the kubuntu splash screen for half an hour,
but nothing else happened. The very same happened as I chose starting
kubuntu without installation.
I remember having the same problem with Ubuntu 10.10 alpha1, but not
with Ubuntu 10.10 alpha2.
I am not sure how I can deliver more technical help. Switching to the
console does not display any information at all.
