Public bug reported: Hi, I've just tried to install the latest lubuntu and got some strange error:
I've downloaded the image from this site(taken from http://lubuntu.net): http://people.ubuntu.com/~gilir/lubuntu-10.04.iso. I've burnt it, reboot with it and then run the "check the install disk" option. After a while I've got a message that there's some wrong file (unfortunately without info which one). So I mounted it and then ran md5sum using md5sum.txt within the cd directory and got this: /cdrom $ md5sum -c md5sum.txt|egrep -v 'OK' ./isolinux/boot.cat: FAILED md5sum: WARNING: 1 of 126 computed checksums did NOT match Therefore I downloaded it again, ran md5sum on the iso image - OK. I burnt it again (slowly) and ran md5sum using md5sum.txt file ang got it again: /cdrom $ md5sum -c md5sum.txt|egrep -v 'OK' ./isolinux/boot.cat: FAILED md5sum: WARNING: 1 of 126 computed checksums did NOT match What's wrong? ** Affects: lubuntu-meta (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- md5sum error within lubuntu 10.04 image https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/603972 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
