> David Robert Lewis: This driver in Lucid generally works except for Skype.
Are you using the Microsoft LifeCam VX-1000 in Ubuntu Lucid 32-bit or 64-bit? I was unable to get the microphone to work in Lucid 64-bit. Now that I'm testing Ubuntu 10.10 64-bit, the microphone works on its own until the video capture is started, in which case the microphone no longer works for that session. Has anyone successfully gotten the microphone to work while capturing video with this driver and a 64-bit platform? Hardy seems to be the last point that this web cam was properly working.
