I wasn't referring to the drop down menu, but it has the problem of having so many entries that it's difficult to select the correct city from the large scrolling list.
The graphical map is difficult for people to select zones in the center of the US. Try to hit Chicago with one click. Chances are you will miss and then have to hunt and peck until you hit the correct one. It seems like it would be easy to create one large "hit" area on the map that selects "US Central Time (GMT - 5)," Maybe I'm wrong, but this looks like a trivial fix. -- US Ubuntu Install Should Use Four Time Zones Instead of Obscure City Names https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/602044 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
