I am sorry for asking, but I am a bit concerned.
Firefox 3.5.10 which is a security fix release, has been released since
22 June 2010, and today is 12 July 2010.
I have checked the Proposed repository, and there is not a new Firefox
package there, either the expected Firefox 3.5.10, or the newer version
you mentioned, Firefox 3.6.6.
So I reopen the bug, until a fix is released.

Firefox 3.5.10 has been released for some time, Ubuntu 9.10 has still Firefox
3.5.9.
