My guess is this is probably do to something with the kernel, and USB
not being available when pulse comes back. To see what happens, could
you plesae log the pulseaudio activity as per the procedure found here,
http://wiki.ubuntu.com/PulseAudio/Log and attach the resulting logfile
to this bug?
