I just checked this, the wrong translation is indeed in the released version, but it has been fixed in the translation here on Launchpad, see https://translations.launchpad.net/picard/qt- port/+pots/picard/fr/+translate?batch=10&show=all&search=Remove+ID3+Tag .
This will be included in the next release. As you can see on https://translations.launchpad.net/picard the French translation was changed a lot compared to the release version. As a native speaker it would be cool if you could have a look if the new translations are indeed an improvement.
