Only July 12th my 64 bit fully updated Kubuntu 10.4 installation was updated with a new ia32-lib file (ia32-libs_2.7ubuntu26).
Prior to that update this page: http://www.bp.com/genericarticle.do?categoryId=9033572&contentId=7062605 the BP page which contained 12 thumbnail video streams of Deep Horizon, worked without problems. Since my system was updated with that ia32-libs file I have not been able to display that page without FireFox crashing. Running FireFox in a Kosnole, the crash message is: "je...@sonyvgnfw140e:~$ firefox LoadPlugin: failed to initialize shared library /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins/nphelix.so [/usr/lib/mozilla/plugins/nphelix.so: wrong ELF class: ELFCLASS32] no talloc stackframe around, leaking memory Aborted je...@sonyvgnfw140e:~$ " I suspect that the new ia32-lib library is not compatible with the current 32bit version of nphelix.so. -- Ia32libs Package error on X64 systems https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/578791 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
