Same here: golem ~ % sudo /etc/init.d/displayconfig-hwprobe.py restart Traceback (most recent call last): File "/etc/init.d/displayconfig-hwprobe.py", line 27, in <module> import ScanPCI ImportError: No module named ScanPCI
I did not attach this to the other bugs (87381, 93190, 94031) regarding the ScanPCI issue because they all refer to the kde-guidance package. kde-guidance is not installed on my system. This is confusing me: golem ~ % apt-file search ScanPCI.py displayconfig-gtk: usr/share/pycentral/displayconfig-gtk/site-packages/displayconfig/ScanPCI.py kde-guidance: usr/share/apps/guidance/ScanPCI.pyc kde-guidance: usr/share/python-support/kde-guidance/ScanPCI.py Now what package expects what version of ScanPCI from where? And what does it have to do with KDE? -- No such module: "ScanPCI" during bootup https://launchpad.net/bugs/96287 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
