Public bug reported: Binary package hint: firefox
Firefox gives highest priority to global font settings in /etc/fonts. And font antialias is set globally (/etc/fonts/conf.d/10-antialias.conf). Because of this it is impossible to set monochrome fonts in Appearance Preferences. I'm proposing to remove /etc/fonts/conf.d/10-antialias.conf then Appearance Preferences will have effect on firefox. I know that this is temporary fix. ** Affects: firefox (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- allow monochrome fonts in firefox https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/605683 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
