True. I installed Ubuntu fine with my 6800, just no accelleration. I really didn't notice the lack of accelleration until I tried some OpenGL screensavers. I agree there should be some kind of note, but other than that, politics wins this one... We can always provide the nvidia driver in the repositories, but shipping with the CDs would violate stuff.
