I today tried to verify this on my Acer Aspire One (A110, BIOS version
3310) with kernel 2.6.32-23.37 and could not see any of the issues with
it here. Even on lower temperatures. As there do not seem to be any
other people affected by this I can only assume this is a very specific
and very special hardware issue. And as such it cannot be a change that
can be made on the whole.
