Thanks for the report. However, it's invalid because it's based on a
misunderstanding.

The File menu in applications is not, and never was, merely about
"working with files". If it had been, then right from the beginning, the
first menu in word processors would have been "Document", the first menu
in spreadsheet programs would have been "Spreadsheet", the first menu in
drawing programs would have been "Drawing", and so on. This wouldn't
achieve anything, except making the menu harder to recognize at a
glance, and harder to use with the keyboard.

"File" is a verb, just like "Edit", "View", "Format", "Insert", and so
on are. It's about filing and organizing whatever primary object the
program deals with. In the case of an e-mail program, it's e-mail
messages and folders. In the case of an image editor, it's an image. In
the case of Ubuntu Software Center, it's software.
