with unity 0.2.18:
1. open places clicking on the ubuntu logo
2. the file place is opened
3. click on the application place icon, it's opening
4. close places (either with the ubuntu logo or in launching an app
5. reopen the places view clicking the ubuntu logo:
- the application place icon is shown as the current one
- we can see the content of the file place
