Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: grub2

After I upgraded to grub2 from Ubuntu repos I was unable to return from
suspended state. When a key was pressed the fan started, HDD and DVD,
but the monitor didn't light up. I couldn't find any relevent
information in syslog/dmesg. I'll try to reproduce this and complement
my bug report as soon as possible.

I'm now able to suspend and return after I downgraded to grub 1.5. I'm
using Ubuntu 10.04.
