After around 6 weeks I got a freeze again. My machine is running on a custom Ubuntu-2.6.32.11 kernel (patched for the x201 internal GSM modem). I know that it's not an official one, but pherhaps the following information can help anyway.
The "visual effects" have been disabled all the time. For the first 3 weeks I've been using no external display. For the second 3 weeks I've been using an external 19 inch display configured to be on the LEFT side of my notebook screen. 4 days ago I switched back to my main external display, which has 24 inches an it's configured to be on the RIGHT side of my notebook screen. Today I got that X lock again. Music is still playing in the background and I can move the mouse pointer, but that's it. -- X locks up on Thinkpad X201 i5 Laptop https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/575186 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
