the bug itself seems to be fixed, however it is not easy to activate: 1_>On Pannel, left mouse click on the speaker 2-> Select "Sound preferences" 3-> Go to Tab Input 4-> Deselect "Mute" 5-> Amplify the volume e.g. to 50 % 6-> Look at Input level: If mic is working, you should see here the movement 7-> Select the input source "Internal Audio Analog stereo"
>From 7 the Input level should be moving. You might also test the audio recorder "Sound recorder" and playback the recorded Audio. If you still have problems, please file a separate bug. If 7. was the problem, I guess we have a usability bug.
