Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: initramfs-tools

wireless network doesnt work. installed Unbuntu 10.04 netbook remix on a
dell inspiron mini v 1011. the hardware app attempted to install
wireless driver Broadcom STA proprietary as well as a Broadcom free
source driver, neither one worked. all other system drivers are
currently working. system booting from Lexar USB with 2gb persistence.
network connection does work when wired. wireless card in working
condition, tested with a windows 7 install.

The install package for this Ubunto install was: Ubuntu 10.04 netbook
i386.iso (possible typo as the source file is on my other boot
partition as i write this.)
