1. the specific steps or actions you took that caused you to encounter
the problem

 * I downloaded the MP3 file from http://www.beatplexity.com/mix/?id=7204
(solitude_ambient_dubstep_vol_6.mp3) with Chromium 6.0.461.0 (51913) to my
local laptop harddrive running Ubuntu 10.04.
 * Opened the MP3 with Totem 2.30.2 (GStreamer 0.10.28)
 * The playback is shown as "Streaming". Seeking in the playback is disabled.

2. the behavior you expected

Totem to treat the file like a fully available local non-streaming file,
with playback seeking enabled.

3. the behavior you actually encountered

Totem behaves as if the datasource is "streaming" rather than a local
file.

Totem reports the files (important) properties as:

Duration: 0 seconds
Codec: N/A
Channels: Stereo
Sample rate: 44100 Hz
Bitrate: N/A

** Changed in: ubuntu
       Status: Invalid => New
