You have been subscribed to a public security bug by Marc Deslauriers

While working, at some point nautilus crashed. The icons on desktop
disappeared and etc. (i think this bug should be known). Later I've
started nautilus with root privileges and in result my desktop was
loaded with root rights. It stayed that way even after closing the
terminal. So bottom line is that I'm logged in as simple user and have
root privileges on desktop.
