Public bug reported:

The popup always says:
"Computer is running on AC power
Laptop battery fully charged (99%)"
whether it's plugged in or not

I ran "acpi -V" while it was plugged and while it was running on battery and it
shows the correct information.
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ acpi -V
     Battery 1: charging, 61%, 00:56:47 until charged
     Thermal 1: active[0], 59.0 degrees C
  AC Adapter 1: on-line
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ acpi -V
     Battery 1: discharging, 61%, 01:32:10 remaining
     Thermal 1: active[0], 59.0 degrees C
  AC Adapter 1: off-line

I'm using an Asus A6U laptop running a fresh Edgy Knot 1.

** Affects: gnome-power-manager (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Untriaged
