So far, I think the options are: (1) Compile/install madwifi; (2)
Install a kernel from the kernel ppa; the Maverick ones got it right;
(3) Recompile the Ubuntu kernel; (4) Wait for Maverick's release or use
another distribution (both the latest Fedora and OpenSuse do not have
this problem).
