A quicker way to re-enable the repeat is to run 'xset r' in a terminal
or in the ALT-F2 launcher.

This did not used to happen to me until Lucid. Running a Dell XPS
m1330.

Have tried adding a call to '/usr/bin/xset -display :0 r on' into a pm
script ( /etc/pm/sleep.d/001_xset ) but although it runs, it does not
work and I can't see a way of getting output to debug.
