Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: bdfresize

The new version of console-setup uses bdfresize to construct double-
width fonts, so I'd like to have this package promoted to main.

Availability: in universe for all architectures.

Rationale: as above.

Security: I've done a brief check (including CVE, Secunia, Ubuntu
history) and found no past issues. There are no set-id binaries, no
daemons, no network access, and no other obvious security sensitivities.

QA: Single binary with no configuration required. No bugs in Debian or
Ubuntu. No test suite.

UI standards: N/A.

Dependencies: Only libc.

Standards compliance: Simple debhelper 5 packaging. Appears to be
standards-compliant.

Maintenance: Appears to require minimal maintenance, and I don't expect
any Ubuntu-specific changes. We should just be able to keep it synced.

** Affects: bdfresize (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: In Progress
