Binary package hint: ubiquity
Steps performed:
- Booting from Kubuntu-10.04 Desktop amd64 CD
- In partitioner, choose "manual"
- Machine has one PATA and one SATA drive - choose the free space on the SATA
(PATA is used and full) and create 3072MB primary ext4 partition for /
- Then, choose remaining free space on SATA and create 3072MB primary partition
for swap
- Then, choose remaining free space on SATA and create 8192MB logical ext4
partition for /usr
- Then, choose remaining free space on SATA and create 2048MB logical ext4
partition for /home
At this point, the installer crashes while calculating the new layout.
