Public bug reported:
I check for updates every day through Update Manager on my 10.04 LTS Ubuntu.
Today after checking for another update, i saw an update of Linux kernel to
version 2.6.32.24.25, but could not install them, because in synaptic it said,
that i have 2.6.32.23.24 version installed, and it does not meed dependency
thus cannot upgrade.
Viewing kernel 2.6.32.24.25 properties in dependency tab it says that it
depends on 2.6.32.23.24.
Don't know how to update my kernel :(
after entering that in terminal: apt-cache policy linux-generic
i got this:
linux-generic:
Installed: 2.6.32.23.24
Candidate: 2.6.32.24.25
