Public bug reported: Binary package hint: vilistextum
$ lsb_release -rd Description: Ubuntu 10.04 LTS Release: 10.04 Version 2.6.9-1 of vilistextum. This program has a command line flag -u that ensures the output is in UTF-8. When I run it on one of my UTF-8 encoded pages (e.g. here: http://borel.slu.edu/lsg/index.html) the output isn't encoded correctly. I've used this program from the sources before and it worked fine. I suspect maybe the ubuntu package wasn't configured with the option: ./configure --enable-multibyte as suggested in the INSTALL file in the source distribution. ** Affects: vilistextum (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- HTML to UTF-8 conversion not working https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/609376 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
