@AceLan Kao: Thank you for your compiled Kernel. I have a Acer Travelmate 8472TG. I had the same problems, i.e. that the battery has not been detected by Lucid (using the "normal" Kernel). Now, the battery is found as well as sensors report a more realistic temperature.
Last 2 general questiona: What has been changed; what caused the problems? Will this patch be official and available in the official updates?
