Public bug reported: System: Ubuntu 10.04 amd64 Soundcard: Realtek ALC268
This happened after updating the kernel from 2.6.32.23 to 2.6.32.24 and booting with the new kernel -- also updated the linux-alsa-driver- modules to 2.6.32-24.201007250500 from https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu- audio-dev/+archive/ppa. Alsa-info attached. If I boot with the previous kernel version (2.6.32.23), the soundcard is recognized as expected.
