Micah, thank you for your replay. I have problems getting all the info, <ubuntu-bug alsa-base> did upload the apport file, but the <sh ./alsa-info.sh> keeps saying not found, (the Terminal screen shot attached). I am new to this, and can't figure how to do all this. I saved <alsa-info.sh> to Mike directory, it wouldn't save it into home dir. thanx Mike
