Steps to reproduce:
0. Launch xchat
1. Edit > Preferences > File Transfers
2. Click dropdown next to "Download files to", note that it specifies
"downloads"
3. Choose "Other...", note it pops up fileselector set to ~/.xchat2 with
"downloads" selected.
I agree this should be changed, but would suggest using ~/Downloads (or
the XDG equivalent).
