Public bug reported:
Hi, after a Suspend, my Wired internet connection cannot resume.
lshw shows this information about my Ethernet:
description: Ethernet interface
product: 88E8036 PCI-E Fast Ethernet Controller
vendor: Marvell Technology Group Ltd.
physical id: 0
bus info: p...@0000:02:00.0
logical name: eth0
version: 10
serial: 00:a0:d1:24:8e:1b
width: 64 bits
clock: 33MHz
capabilities: cap_list ethernet physical
configuration: broadcast=yes driver=sky2 driverversion=1.25
firmware=N/A latency=0 multicast=yes
resources: irq:11 memory:bc000000-bc003fff ioport:a000(size=256)
*-pci:2
My /etc/pm/config.d/00sleep_module file shows this:
# The sleep/wake system to use. Valid values are:
# kernel The built-in kernel suspend/resume support.
# Use this if nothing else is supported on your
system.
# uswsusp If your system has support for the userspace
# suspend programs (s2ram/s2disk/s2both), then use
this.
# tuxonice If your system has support for tuxonice, use this.
#
# The system defaults to "kernel" if this is commented out.
# SLEEP_MODULE="kernel"
I have tried these suggestions but to NO avail:
sudo /etc/init.d/networking restart
sudo modprobe -r sky2
sudo modprobe sky2
Added SUSPEND_MODULES="sky2" to /etc/pm/config.d/00sleep_module
Thank you for investigating!
