What do you suggest exactly in #2 ? AFAIU, recommends is "stronger" than suggests, so... everything is fine ATM : * suggests mysql-server a one may not run the RDBMS on the same machine, but that's an option (hence only suggests and not recommends) * recommends php5-mysql, as even with a remote mysql server, you'd need the client libs locally... but still not a dependency as you may choose postgres for instance. * php-cli... well, most people probably run php with mod-php library for apache, but some may prefer some CGI-like like if installing in a weird apache config (for SOAP for instance, etc.)
Hope this helps. -- mantis requires php5-mysql https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/610356 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
