Hi, Sry. for the late response. In part, yes, it is reproducible in Ubuntu Lucid 64.
It works OK mostly in up-to-date Lucid; That's to say, once the OS has started, the peripherals work nicely, all times. But it still has the problem that when restarting from Ubuntu session, the keyboard does not work to choose in Grub2 which OS one may want to start. I still have to use the laptop keyboard for that. Curiously, this does not happen if I restart the machine coming from a Windows Vista 64 session. Also to mention that I tried PeppermintOS few time ago, and this peripheral-keyboard-not-responding problem didn't happen with this OS, too.
